Even sinners like Valmiki and Ajamila were transformed by the name of God. Ajamila was saved at the time of death by chanting “Narayan,” showing the power of God’s name. Joban Pagi, a robber, was also transformed into a devotee by Shriji Maharaj. Thus, chanting and devotion remove bad habits.
For chanting (dhun), one should sit properly, close the eyes, and remember God and Guru. Without remembering them, chanting is useless. Devotion is always done of God along with His ideal devotee.
