 Chapter - 31 Summary

Yogiji Maharaj loved simplicity and service. He always wore simple clothes and ate simple food. He remained cheerful, spoke lovingly with everyone, cared for all, and prayed for their well-being. He constantly engaged in chanting the Swaminarayan mantra.

He especially loved children. He gathered them, taught dhun, bhajans, kirtans, and spiritual talks. He shared stories of Shriji Maharaj, Gunatitanand Swami, Bhagatji Maharaj, and Shastriji Maharaj, and taught them puja and aarti.

Yogiji Maharaj gave rules for youths: wake up early, remember God, perform puja, read Shikshapatri, study sincerely, and respect elders. He also instructed to wear tilak-chandlo, visit mandir, attend mandal regularly, and follow good values.

He advised avoiding bad habits like चोरी, lying, addictions, cinema, and outside food, and encouraged fasting and disciplined living.

Chapter - 32 Summary

He emphasized satsang discussions, listening to spiritual talks, and reflecting on the divine actions of God and saints. He taught to remove one’s faults, remain sincere, avoid anger, and grow through service and knowledge.

He guided youths to maintain unity, friendship, and divine vision toward all devotees. He stressed avoiding jokes, mischief, fault-finding, and arguments, and cultivating calmness and tolerance.

He highlighted humility, service, and becoming a servant of servants. He instructed to follow non-violence, celibacy, and maintain firm faith in Akshar-Purushottam.

Chapter - 33 Summary

In Samvat 2006, Shastriji Maharaj appointed Shastri Narayanswarupdasji as the president of BAPS at a young age. From then, he became known as Pramukh Swami.

Yogiji Maharaj showed special grace upon him and recognized his capability. Pramukh Swami Maharaj served the organization and satsang throughout his life as per Yogiji Maharaj’s guidance.

Yogiji Maharaj declared his greatness, saying he is the form of Shastriji Maharaj and that satsang will grow through him. He instructed all to follow his commands.

During his final days, Yogiji Maharaj said, “Pramukh Swami is my everything.” Afterward, Pramukh Swami Maharaj guided devotees for many years. Today, Mahant Swami Maharaj is his successor.
