Chapter - 6 Summary
In Samvat 1952, arrangements were made by Yagnapurushdasji, with the permission of Acharya Maharaj, for Bhagatji to come to Gadhpur for the Jaljhilani festival. Many devotees gathered in Gadhada for this occasion. Bhagatji visited the seats of Acharya Maharaj and senior sadhus, as well as Lakshmivadi and the temple, giving darshan to the sadhus and devotees.
When Acharya Maharaj asked about the happiness of God, Bhagatji explained that one who becomes attached to the joy of God experiences peace in the senses and inner faculties, and the mind never becomes attached to anything other than God’s murti. Such happiness is experienced only by becoming gurumukh.
Bhagatji also explained that having spiritual understanding towards the ekantik saint is the extraordinary means of liberation. Serving such a saint with mind, actions, and words helps one attain ekantik dharma. To realize God, one must conquer the senses and inner faculties and become brave against faults like lust and anger while praying to God.
When devotees asked about Yagnapurushdasji’s studies, Bhagatji said that he may study in Rajkot if arrangements are made, but there is no need to go to Kashi. He also taught that devotion with the understanding of God’s glory alone becomes mature, while devotion without such understanding eventually perishes. After giving such divine spiritual teachings, Bhagatji returned to Mahuva.

Yagnapurushdasji thought that Bhagatji should be honored at the same place where he had once been insulted. Therefore, in Samvat 1953, with the permission of Acharya Maharaj, arrangements were made for Bhagatji to come to Junagadh during the Janmashtami festival. When Bhagatji arrived, he was welcomed grandly from the railway station along with Acharya Maharaj, and excellent arrangements were made for his stay in the temple.
During the festival, Bhagatji regularly attended the assembly and delivered spiritual discourses, giving great joy to the sadhus and devotees. Many saints bowed to him because he was the greatly blessed disciple of Gunatitanand Swami. Bhagatji taught that spiritual understanding towards the ekantik saint and devotion with awareness of God’s glory are essential for liberation.
He explained that devotion is the life of spiritual practice. Even if one has detachment, knowledge, and dharma, without devotion everything is useless. He advised devotees to control the senses, avoid worldly attachments, and recognize the greatness of the true guru. Jaga Swami also spoke about Bhagatji’s glory and encouraged devotees to value his association.
In this way, Bhagatji gave profound spiritual guidance and joy to the devotees in Junagadh. After the festival, he took permission from Acharya Maharaj and the saints and departed, bidding an emotional farewell to Jaga Swami before proceeding to Gondal.

Chapter - 28 Summary
In Gondal, when Yagnapurushdasji asked about further studies, Bhagatji said that he had already been taught both scriptural knowledge and the knowledge of Brahman, and nothing remained incomplete. Bhagatji then established Yagnapurushdasji as the guru for everyone and instructed him to bring happiness to the saints and devotees.
After reaching Mahuva, Bhagatji accepted illness and called devotees for his final darshan. He stopped taking food and his condition gradually worsened, yet he continued to give courage and guidance to the devotees. On the day of Annakut, he visited the temple and declared that whoever had his darshan would be taken to Akshardham.
On Kartik Sud 13 of Samvat 1954, Bhagatji sat in samadhi and departed for Akshardham. The devotees were deeply saddened, and his final rites were performed on the banks of the Malan River.
When Yagnapurushdasji heard the news, he was overwhelmed with grief. However, Bhagatji appeared to him and said, “Where have I gone? I remain eternally within you.” This divine vision removed his sorrow and everyone realized that Maharaj remains manifest through a great ekantik saint like Yagnapurushdasji.

In Samvat 1914, Bhagatji was traveling with devotees from Mahuva to have the darshan of the Swami in Junagadh. Due to heavy rains, the Shetrunji River was flooded, but Bhagatji encouraged the devotees with faith in God and safely crossed the river with them. On the way, a dog bit one devotee, but Bhagatji’s touch relieved the pain. Later, Bhagatji’s brother Narsinhbhai was bitten by a black cobra, but through prayer and the power of the Swaminarayan mantra, the pain subsided.
On another occasion, during heavy rain and darkness when the path was unclear, Bhagatji asked the devotees to sit and chant God’s name. After some time, they found themselves already in Gadhada. In another incident, Kanji Darji received a garland from Bhagatji, after which he continuously had the divine vision of Maharaj and Swami.
When cholera spread in Mahuva, Bhagatji instructed people to offer oil to Hanumanji and many were cured. A Brahmin once saw the vision of Shriji Maharaj in Bhagatji’s eyes. Even during his final illness, Bhagatji visited the temple on Annakut day and gave darshan to thousands of devotees. He then declared that whoever had his darshan would attain liberation.
