Chapter - 26 Summary
Before the Chaitra full-moon festival in Vartal, Swamishri predicted that a meeting would be called against them but that the opponents would end up arguing among themselves and nothing would happen against them. Following his command, Kalidasbhai and other devotees went to Vartal. Swamishri also asked Galbhai whether he had the courage to proclaim “Victory to Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj” in the assembly, and Galbhai accepted the command with courage.
During the full-moon assembly, when the Acharya Maharaj arrived, Galbhai first proclaimed “Victory to Sahajanand Swami Maharaj” and then “Victory to Akshar-Purushottam Maharaj.” Everyone unknowingly repeated the chant. Later they realized what had happened, but due to Galbhai’s strong personality no one could oppose him. The assembly ended without discussion and people began arguing among themselves.
In a later meeting, when someone spoke against Shastri Yagnapurushdasji, Kalidasbhai defended him by mentioning his great achievements. Kothari Gordhanbhai also stated that Shastri was pure. Eventually the opponents argued among themselves, and Swamishri’s prediction came true—no trouble arose against them.

Chapter - 27 Summary
Swamishri continued the Vachanamrut discourses in Vartal, attracting devotees from across Gujarat. Many sadhus from Vartal and Kothari Gordhanbhai also attended his talks. When someone asked Gordhanbhai why he associated with Shastri Yagnapurushdasji, he replied that among the two thousand sadhus of Vartal, he had never seen anyone as detached from wealth and women as Shastriji, and that his discourses were as sweet as sugar.
Devotees always remained near Swamishri and served him with great love, including preparing food for him. Because of this support, no one could harm him. This increased the frustration of the opponents. Acharya Laxmiprasad was young, and Swamishri advised him to maintain good conduct, which he did not appreciate.
Opponents began searching for ways to disturb Swamishri’s discourses. They burned chili powder near the assembly or poured water in front of the gathering to disperse the devotees. Despite these disturbances, Swamishri and the devotees remained firm and the Satsang continued.

Chapter - 28 Summary
There was intense opposition against Swamishri in Vartal. Devotees felt that it was unsafe for him to remain there because some hostile sadhus might attempt something harmful. Therefore, during Kartiki Poonam of Samvat 1962, Swamishri’s devoted followers came to Vartal and stayed constantly near him.
The devotees requested Swamishri not to go to the communal dining area, but he insisted that a sadhu must always eat in the common kitchen. When khichdi was served, it had a strong smell of poison. Swamishri understood this but still ate a little so that the prasad would not be disrespected. After coming out, he felt unwell but assured the devotees not to worry.
The opponents then made another plan to push Shastri Yagnapurushdasji into a large furnace when he came to eat. However, the devotees stood firmly with him and refused to move. When the opponents started pushing them, a few devotees took the opportunity to enter the kitchen and quickly carry Swamishri outside. Later, the opponents realized that Swamishri had already been taken away.

Chapter - 29 Summary
Seeing the growing opposition against Swamishri, the devotees became concerned and discussed what should be done. They decided to request Swamishri’s group to complete the Rudel temple. They approached Kothari Gordhanbhai, who sent them to Acharya Maharaj, but even after several attempts, no clear response was given.
The devotees felt that it was not safe for Swamishri to remain in Vartal, but Swamishri firmly said that even if the body perishes, the gate of Vartal should not be abandoned, as Bhagatji Maharaj had instructed him so. Later, Shrikrishnaji Ada arrived and advised that one should act according to time and circumstances as instructed in the Shikshapatri. Swamishri accepted this advice as the will of Maharaj.
After the festival, the devotees again requested Acharya Maharaj to send Swamishri’s group to Bochasan. However, Acharya Laxmiprasadji replied that they could go wherever they wished. Hearing this, the devotees were deeply saddened. Swamishri then said that they would never separate from the temple and Satsang, but if it was Maharaj’s wish, they might have to leave. He then instructed Purushottamdas Swami to remain there.

Chapter - 30 Summary
Swamishri knew that the difficult circumstances in Vartal had arisen by the will of Shriji Maharaj because he had propagated the pure worship of Akshar-Purushottam. He did not feel personal sorrow, but he felt pain that even in the sacred place of Shriji Maharaj, the pure form of worship could not be openly discussed.
Swamishri, along with five sadhus, prayed before the murti of Harikrishna Maharaj and accepted God’s will to leave Vartal. He left through the Hanuman gate with five sadhus and about 150 devotees. On the way, the village police patel Kishorbhai met him and offered to imprison those who had troubled him, but Swamishri replied that according to the dharma of a sadhu, insults must be endured while continuing to spread satsang.
Many devotees came with garlands to meet him and bid farewell. Swamishri told them to continue all offerings and services to Thakorji in Vartal because the temple and Thakorji belong to them. Afterwards, Swamishri traveled through Karamsad and reached Bochasan. The five sadhus with him were brave and steadfast, having endured many hardships without complaint or conflict. With the support of such saints, Swamishri’s mission gained great momentum.
