At the Jaljhilani festival in Gadhada, Bhagatji instructed Yagnapurushdasji to study in Rajkot and not go to Kashi. He described Yagnapurushdasji as a broom to cleanse the inner hearts of all. The reasons included studying Sanskrit nearby and association with Jaga Bhakta. In Rajkot, Yagnapurushdasji studied while helping Satsangi students and teaching pure worship.
